Men and women of diverse backgrounds, ethnicity, and ages but who all have one thing in common: They’re turning their dreams into reality. And who was there to capture their journey? The answer: Director/Editor Michael Oleksinski.

Michael packed up his equipment and road-tripped it with a few assistants to The University of New Mexico to shoot testimonials of current students. Being somewhat of a Renaissance man, not only was Michael the editor on the short film, his role included director, director of photography, and colorist. His hard work and great talent gave these students a voice and the chance to share their passion with the world. Watch the inspiring video below!

Our audio engineer, Scottie Richardson, mixed awarding-winning animated short, “The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore”. Check out the trailer and synopsis for this beautiful film below! Inspired, in equal measures, by Hurricane Katrina, Buster Keaton, The Wizard of Oz, and a love for books, “Morris Lessmore” is a story of people who devote their lives to books and books who return the favor. “The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore” is a poignant, humorous allegory about the curative powers of story. Using a variety of techniques (miniatures, computer animation, 2D animation) award winning author/ illustrator William Joyce and Co-director Brandon Oldenburg present a hybrid style of animation that harkens back to silent films and M-G-M Technicolor musicals. “Morris Lessmore” is old fashioned and cutting edge at the same time.
